Daniel Bayer is an impressionistic painter based in Park City, Utah. His work captures the landscapes and people of the Mountain West with textured surfaces, luminous color, and expressive brushwork, often incorporating a  sometimes surreal, cartoonish quality that playfully alters scale and form. 

He works primarily in acrylics and mixed media, exploring the tactile relationship between surface and atmosphere.
